Terms of use
The game
Pass the Potato is a free entertainment game. Coins are virtual game credits, not money. They cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Predictions have no monetary value.
Coin purchases
Purchased coins are delivered to the anonymous player profile used at checkout. Purchases are final after delivery except where refunds are required by law. Clearing browser cookies may disconnect this device from that profile.
Fair play
Do not automate traffic, manipulate scores or handoffs, create fraudulent ad activity, interfere with the service, or use the game for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or harmful conduct.
Sharing
Send potato links only to people who expect them. Do not spam or use misleading messages. Shared links may be single-use.
Availability and third parties
Features, virtual balances, competitions, branches, and ads may change, pause, reset, or end. Hosting, payment, advertising, and sharing services may have their own terms and policies. The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
Privacy policy
What we store
We use an essential browser cookie with a random player ID. Game records can include coins, predictions, achievements, potato handoffs, purchases, and optional approximate location. Payment details stay with the payment provider.
Location
If you choose to share location, we may save an approximate city, region, and country. We do not request precise GPS location.
Advertising
If you accept optional cookies, Google game ads may load after gameplay. Google may process device, browser, network, consent, and interaction data under its own policies. Rewarded ads are optional. Learn more about how Google uses information.
Public activity
Potato numbers, approximate places, handoffs, reactions, milestones, and anonymous leaderboard names may be public. Do not share personal or sensitive information through the game.
Retention and choices
We retain game records to preserve journeys, purchases, and rankings. You can decline optional ads and location sharing. Clearing cookies disconnects this browser but does not remove public relay history.
Changes
We may update these policies as the game changes. The effective date will change after material updates.
